THE SOCIETY FOR CARDIOVASCULAR ANGIOGRAPHY AND
INTERVENTIONS SCAI RADIAL SUMMIT


TARGET AUDIENCE:
This program will offer interventional cardiologists and other vascular specialists the opportunity to recieve transradial access/interventional training,  based on the latest information and best practices in this growing area of interventional cardiovascular medicine.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES: The SCAI Radial Summit will provide physicians the opportunity to build on and expand their knowledge of transradial access/intervention. The topics of the course are designed to:
  • Develop a comprehensive educational program and core curriculum in transradial access/intervention.
  • Provide guidance for physicians wishing to start a transradial access/intervention program at their institution.
  • Offer physicians the opportunity to learn the basic and advanced aspects of transradial access/intervention.
  • Offer physicians skill acquisition in patient, device, and therapy selection as it relates to transradial access/intervention.

The Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions accepts the following Content Validation Statements and expects all persons involved in its professional education activities to abide by these statements with regard to any recommendations

ACCREDITATION STATEMENTS
PHYSICIANS: The Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions designates this education activity for a maximum of 7.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s). Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

INTERNATIONAL PHYSICIANS: The American Medical Association has determined that physicians not licensed in the US who participate in this CME activity are eligible for AMA PRA Category 1 credits.

DOCTORS OF OSTEOPATHY: Category 2 credit will be awarded for formal educational programs that are ACCME-accredited or AAFP-approved.

PHYSICIANS ASSISTANTS: AAPA accepts Category I credit from AOACCME, Prescribed credit from AAFP, and AMA PRA Category 1 CME credit for the organizations accredited by ACCME. The Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions is an accredited provider through the ACCME.

SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION STATEMENT
Certificates of Completion/Attendance will be provided to participants who have reviewed the fourteen presentations and completed the online evaluation\quiz. The course will not generate a certificate for individual presentations; if you have any questions regarding continuing medical education credits, please send your queries to cme@scai.org.
